The Chattanooga women's basketball team learned its fate in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship during Sunday night's NCAA Selection Show. The 16th-seeded Mocs will face top-seeded Virginia Tech in the Seattle 3 Region in the first round on Friday, March 17, in Blacksburg, Virginia.The Mocs (20-12) are coming off their first Ingles SoCon Women's Basketball Championship since 2017 as the squad won all three of its games by double figures in Asheville, North Carolina. Chattanooga will be making its 16th trip to the Big Dance overall.
