BLACKSBURG, Va. ( WFXR ) –The YMCA at Virginia Tech honored women leaders during a ceremony at the Lancaster House for the third year in a row on International Women's Day. The Lancaster House is part of the YMCA and a part of women's history at the University. It's the former home of Lucy Lee Lancaster, who was one of the first women to graduate from Virginia Tech. Women were first allowed on Virginia Techs' campus nearly 100 years ago. Lancaster graduated in 1926 along with four other women.
