BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia Tech announced Monday that head women's basketball coach Kenny Brooks has signed a three-year contract extension, keeping him with the Hokies through March of 2029. Brooks was previously set to be the head coach thru the end of the 2025-26 season. The six-year deal is worth $6.4 million, according to a press release sent by the school. The contract also includes enhancements made to support staff salaries, assistant coach salary pool, postseason bonuses and operating budget.
